Using Wiki for Movies
So, wouldn't you know it...now that I've done something cool in my class that I want to share, we are having technical difficulties! My class made an awesome movie about Matter that I would love to be able to post on our class website. Unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out how exactly to do it or if we even have the capabilities on the school websites to get it done. My bright idea is to create a Wiki where I can upload my class videos. This will help me to get around having to ask for help each time I want to upload something. The problem is that I don't have enough experience with Wiki's to know exactly what do to. Any ideas ol'blogger friends?

I had the same issues this week in my classroom. I never did figure it out. I am meeting with someone next week to try and have her walk me through the posting process. It should not be this difficult!!!
ReplyDeleteI am impressed with your movie idea and I too would like to try this! What a great way for your class to share their knowledge with others and it will be a wonderful tool for the parents to stay connected! Between you and Sharon one of you will get this problem corrected. Looking forward to seeing your video online!
ReplyDeleteI saw your movie and it was AWESOME! What a great idea. I may have to try it. Your students looked like they were having fun and learning! Great idea!
ReplyDeleteSorry I can't help with the wiki upload problem. I'm a digital immigrant!
